I’ve been on a big superhero kick lately, and am fascinated by anything that deconstructs them. There’s a theory that Mayer’s Superfolks influenced Alan Moore’s work on Marvelman/Miracleman and Watchmen. I’ll have to read the book to decide if I believe that.
